Hi, yeah, this is Friending Fourteen Year Olds.com, right? Cool. Cool. Just checking I’m writing in the right place because otherwise this would be super embarrassing.

My name’s Gilbert. I’m a vegan Pisces with a love of cat videos and horse riding and I’ve been really struggling how to make this girl Megan like me. It’s just, she’s so pretty and beautiful and clear-skinned and perfect … I’d never know how to talk to a girl like that. So I’ve been thinking instead about other ways to get her to notice me, but I’m really not sure what to do.

I was talking to a good buddy of mine, Derek, and we decided the best way to go about it was to write an anonymous love note on her food packaging. Australia doesn’t have any laws about breaking into her locker at school and tampering with her property, we couldn’t get in trouble with the police, just with the school. So we thought there’d be minimal risk there. But apparently writing ‘I see you and you’re perfect’ is a threat. Like I’d ever hurt her. I just wanted her to know how beautiful she is.

Apparently, the school perceived my note as such a threat that they’ve been handing out security bags for people who are worried about their ‘valuable’ items. It’s as if people are worried about tampering or their safety or something like that. I never meant to cause panic or anything, I just wanted to let Megan know someone out there liked her. Gosh, I’m just so clueless when it comes to girls. Do you have any ideas for me?
