Secret painting arrangements were kept from me

After sitting down with me and discussing our options, my husband announced he’d already scheduled our house in to be painted. We had been looking into it for a while now. We had just passed the eight year mark in our home and realised we hadn’t ever repainted. It became obvious that our house was in need of some tender love and care We’d been referred to a painting company by our neighbours, who had only finished with their house painting, Malvern had been especially dry this week which is perfect for drying paint.

Sitting on the edge of the lounge, I was trying to get as much information out of my husband about the painting as possible. He was being incredibly hard to talk lately and seemed to be purposely withholding information from me. He only did this to me when he was mad at me for something. Whenever it was, I was eager to know what was going on, he was being very vague. It was his way of winding me up, and although it frustrated me to no end, I loved him for it.

My husband finally told me that he had scheduled our house to be painted in two weeks time. A team of Malvern exterior painters would be arriving on the Monday morning and the job should be finished by the Wednesday. Apparently if you have bad weather you can’t paint, so fingers crossed. I was going to have to be patient, especially with my annoying husband. I just wanted the house painted. He knew that I had been seeing painting swatches in my dreams and I just wanted to see the house complete. I looked at him with sad eyes. He reassured me that the house would be painted in no time and that it was going to look fantastic. I forgave him for his silly joke.
