My sister is going to clean the carpets

My sister is one of the weirdest kids around, despite being older than I am by five years. Maybe that’s a kinda harsh, I’m just trying to tell it like it is. She has to move out of her current place because the rest of her flatmates are finishing uni and moving to the city. She can’t afford the rent on her own, so she has to find a more affordable place. Despite having lived together with me for many years growing up, she still hasn’t learned and wants to move back home. I did warn her though, we do not get along under the same roof. I tried to tell her not to try and clean the carpets of the rental house by herself, but as I think I have pointed out, she is not the brightest crayon in the box. She insists that she can do it all herself which means the carpet cleaning is doomed to fail.
Less than 15 minutes into her stain removal she gave up and decided to call the Melbourne carpet cleaning experts. This was probably the smartest decision she has made all year. If we were to poll the public on what they thought of the house cleanliness in general, the consensus would be something like “how do people live here without getting sick?” There is no way that these kids would ever get their bond back with carpet dry cleaning. It looks they eat dinner on the floor and wipe their mouths on the rug. Should I have expected different from a bunch of teenage college students? It’s like their parents never taught them how to clean up after themselves. My sister should know better, our parents were really strict about cleaning schedules. Come to think of it that’s probably why she hates cleaning so much more. I guess it’s not really her fault at all that carpet cleaning is the last thing on her mind.
