A gift for father, why not socks again?

Should I get my father a gift this year for his birthday? He’s still pretty mad at me for borrowing his car without asking. I may have accidentally crashed it a little bit and then put it back in his garage without saying anything. In my defense had I told him that I had crashed his car he would have been really mad at me, and how would that have helped the situation. I probably would have gotten away with it if I hadn’t left a fast food receipt in the footwell. He hasn’t spoken to me in three weeks, and I don’t think he’s going to calm down any time soon. He’s always complaining about not having any stylish mens socks, perhaps I could buy him some. Since I’m grounded I can’t leave the house at the moment so I’ll need to find some striped mens socks online. I’ll just order it with his credit card and have it delivered to the house. I know I should probably use my own money but I don’t have any right now. He has emptied my bank account to pay for the damage to his car, which I totally didn’t give him permission to do. I’m a bit annoyed at him for doing that but I guess I owe him the money. Maybe if my parents had bought me a car on my birthday like I asked I wouldn’t have taken his. I didn’t want an expensive car either, I just wanted an old sports car. My mum offered to give me her old wagon but I can’t be seen in that! I don’t want to pick up my friends in a gross old station wagon. He really should have seen it coming, he left the keys in the ignition. It’s like he wanted me to take the car, like he was setting me up or something. I’m going to order myself some spotted mens socks online while I’m buying his, I need a few stylish pairs coming in to winter. Socks are kind of the big fashion item at my school, it’s like a trend who can get the coolest socks. Even the girls are buying stylish mens socks, I need to up my sock game. I hope dad likes the socks enough to let me go out again and forgives me for the car. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for freedom in exchange for some cool mens socks.
